The Grove House was designed for a couple who wanted less — less maintenance, less visual noise, less separation from the outdoors. The result is a 2,400 square foot home that lives larger than its footprint through a series of spatial compressions and releases, a deep covered porch, and a material palette of board-formed concrete, weathered steel, and Douglas fir.
